So after being disqualified from running in the last federal election, I was feeling a little lost and directionless, and unsure of what to do for the next 3 years before the next election. Fortunately I was helped by some amazing people, who gave guidance and opportunities I otherwise wouldn’t have considered.

I have enrolled at Deakin University, and the trimester started last week. I’m studying an Associates Degree in Arts, majoring in Politics and International Relations. There are no tertiary education requirements to run as a candidate, however I feel these studies will greatly aid me in my political ambitions.

Also, starting this week, I will have a part time job at Barwon Health Foundation. An independent charity that raises funds for specific projects to improve healthcare facilities in the Barwon region, and I very much look forward to being a part of their team.

Being disqualified was a huge knock down but I’m not out yet.
